Twelve wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. Accessibility is part of how we design, build, and publish content, and we review the site when it changes.

What we have in place

  • Semantic structure with headings, landmarks, and a skip link to the main content.
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text and interface colors chosen for readable contrast on our dark background.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Animations that stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • The full site in English and Spanish.
  • An accessibility menu (the button at the bottom left) to enlarge text, raise contrast, underline links, add text spacing, and pause animations. These options complement, and do not replace, the site's built-in accessibility.

Known limitations

Some content comes from third parties, such as social media platforms and embedded media, and may not fully meet the same standard. If something on this site is hard to use, please tell us.
